research facilities. Since we are very familiar with servicing
instruments, our refurbishing process is designed to minimize
later problems with the analyzer. Also, to ensure highest quality,
many of the instrument critical parts are replaced with new ones regardless of their condition.
During the refurbishing process, each instrument goes through many steps. Below is only a few topics:
- Dis-Assembly: Instrument is completely dis-assembled.
- Cleaning: All the major assemblies and internal parts are cleaned.
- Painting: Parts of the instrument that require painting, are painted.
- All the modules and major assemblies are refurbished and tested.
- Many worn and used parts are replaced with new ones.
- The system is put back together.
- Mechanical, optical & electronic alignments & adjustments are done.
- The system will be operated at maximum load for several hours.
- The instrument is professionally packed and crating for shipping.
